Right now, we think issues like gay marriage, abortion, and Iraq are complex and controversial. When I read articles like Scientists: Gains May Shape Competition, I can't help but wonder if we aren't in the warm-up stage for a truly staggering challenge to traditional knowledge and ethics. When I think about these bioethics issues, it makes my brain hurt.
