China’s media censorship rattling world image

China's media censorship rattling world image is a Christian Science Monitor article about censorship struggles in China. I have made the case in various posts that increased prosperity leads to greater demands for civil liberties. I have always suspected that China has been trying to achieve economic prosperity while retaining totalitarian control over people's lives. In my estimation, either prosperity or totalitarianism will have to go. I think it is anybody's guess as to which it will be.
