On the final day of the Acton University, I attended the following:
- “Urban Ministry and the Enterprise of Private Charity” Rudy Carrasco
- “Evangelical Social Thought: An Emerging Discourse” John Nunes
- “Christianity and Social Justice: 10 Economic Lessons for Teachers” Stephen Haessler
- “Knowing Good Works: Guidelines for Effective Compassion” Fred De Jong
- “Entrepreneurial Vocation” Robert A. Sirico
This has really been a great event. It was very professional and informative. I have made some new friends from around the world and the US. I have especially appreciated the civil tone used in all the events. Presbyterian right and left events could learn a great deal about civil discourse from this international community of Roman Catholics, Mainliners, and Evangelicals.
