  1. Mike,
Many of my friends have decided XP will be the last MS OS they run, they are sick of all the problems. When you get there, let me know, I will help you find a good Linux User Group to help you install linux on your pc.

  2. The desktop I am typing this on is almost five years old. It is starting to crash under the load of recent software so we are getting ready to buy a new one. Linux is a distinct possibility.

  3. Love my macs! It’s not hard to switch, Mike.

  4. I affectionately refer to Linux as “service pack 3”.

  5. I’ve got a Dell Laptop that works great. I just need to consider getting my laptop and a new desktop (Mac? Linux?) and peripherals to all integrate. I can learn and do the techie stuff needed to bring it all together. I just find that with each passing year I have less and less patience for it.
