LOUISVILLE — General Assembly Council (GAC) Executive Director Linda Valentine has announced appointments of temporary leaders to head four of the GAC’s six new program areas until permanent directors are called.
Valentine earlier announced the permanent appointments of the Rev. Joe Small as director of the Theology, Worship and Education program area and Sara Pottschmitt Lisherness as director of the Peace and Justice program area.
The six mission program areas will be overseen by Deputy Executive Director for Mission Tom Taylor, a pastor in Glendora, CA. Taylor assumes his new position in January.
