TimesOnline.com: The Map of Faith (HT: Nate)
My friend Nate brought the linked map to my attention. It shows each county of the US color-coded by the percentage of residents who claim a religious affiliation, as well as the 2004 election map. Even more interesting would be a map of the percentage of people who attend worship weekly. From my studies over the years, affiliation, or what group you affiliate with, tends to have much less predictive value than whether or not you attend at least weekly. Nevertheless, the map is very interesting, and you can compare it to the charity map I recently posted.
