Death by Blog Boredom

Well, I've been "memed" by David Ker of Lingamish fortune and fame. He wants to find "Five little-known treasures of the blogosphere." I don't know if any of these qualify as "little known," but they are five among several I flipped a coin over that I would like more folks to read.

Bradley Wright's Weblog – Univ of Conn. Sociologist

Gruntled Center – (William "Beau" Weston) Sociologist at Center College

Theopraxis – (Scott Berkhimer) Great theological reflections.

John H Armstrong – Thought-provoking posts on a range of issues.

Magic Statistics (Scott Gilbreath) – Interesting aggregation of stories dealing with science, stats, and religion.

I don't do lots of these memes, and I know some folks have an aversion to them. For those I listed, consider yourself tagged if you wish to join in.

  1. I knew you’d come through for me. I’ve made fun of meme tags for years, but, heck, it’s a slow weekend.

  2. I like a good meme every now and then but I know some folks just hate ’em. I like this one because you get to learn about new blogs.

  3. I thank you for the recommendaiton, Michael. Memes are generally not my thing, however, so please accept my apologies for dropping the ball on this one.

  4. I fully understand.

  5. Michael,
I hope I can blog more and be a better reader of blogs, yours among the first in that. Thanks for this list. I’ll have to check them out soon. I’m sure they’re very good.

  6. A very good list. Four of the five were new to me.
    Thanks,

  7. Ted, I can relate to the challenge. Some blogs I read every post. Others I just look for what hits me. We just can’t read everything.
Great Jim. I’m glad you found some good stuff.

  8. Tagged!

Michael Kruse tagged me several days ago, along with offering a generous recommendation of this humble little site. I confess that I’ve sort of been feeling like someone who has unexpected guests and hasn’t been keeping up with the chores,…
