Well, Isaac is pretty bummed about the collapse of the Mizzou Tigers to the Oklahoma Sooners. Isaac has a strong affinity for football teams with large striped felines as their mascots. He wanted to see MU in the BCS championship game. I explained to him that all may not be lost. There is a good chance the LSU Tigers could end up in the championship game. He says he'll believe it when he sees it.
Anyway, the fur ball and I will be checking out the college rankings tonight.

And Hawaii came through and will be in the Sugar Bowl! I hope they beat Georgia….

Actually, the Mizzou fans here in Columbia are not particularly happy about getting the Cotton Bowl especially in view of the fact that Kansas got a BCS bid, and will be playing the Hokies in the Orange Bowl.
Our orange striped cat, who hails from Tonganoxie KS (about 15 miles from Lawrence) is strutting around our house. I tried to explain to him that cockiness loses games, but he won’t listen. And I can’t blame it on testosterone since that little problem was addressed years ago.

Any way, this is about the wierdest BCS season yet. At least its more exciting than the Chiefs.
