My niece, Lauren Smith, had her wedding Saturday evening here in Kansas City. Here is a picture of the new couple, Jim and Lauren Gutierrez. It was a wonderful day and a wonderful wedding. Blessings on them both in the years that will follow.

I was never going to actually officiate … just give a short sermonette. They ended up not doing that for legitimate reasons I will not go into. I played another role.
But you are right. It was a great wedding!
