Republicans are enjoying new popularity among 18- to 29-year-olds, which may signal the first step in a Republican resurgence among young adults, a new poll suggests.

Ahem … based on the analysis, the headline is incorrect. Young adults voted 2 to 1 for Obama in the last presidential election. Nowhere does this article tell us that this ratio has changed. If the ratio is moving closer to 1 to 1, we could say there is a "Republican resurgence among young adults." All this article says is there is greater intensity of support for Republicans by Republican young adults … there is a "Republican resurgence among Republican young adults." That will still be helpful to Republicans, but it doesn't indicate a shift in allegiance among young adults. CSM usually does a better job with their stories than this.
