Taking a blogging break for my mother

I'm suspending blog posts for a few days. My mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last October, and I think she is coming to the end of her journey this week. My family has been providing care with the help of a hospice service (and some friends) so she can pass away at home. A couple of days ago, my dad came down with what we suspect is walking pneumonia, so he entered the hospital yesterday to get treatment. You could say life has become a bit chaotic.

Anyway, I'll be back when the storm settles again. Peace!

    Mike,
Sad to hear the news. Crises tend to clarify our priorities quickly. May this become an opportunity to experience God’s healing power at work in you and your family.

I’m so sorry to hear about this grief. May God grant your family peace and consolation, and to your mother a peaceful, holy and painless passing into the fullness of his presence.
