PBS: Beware of economics: The perils of cost-benefit analysis

I found Schwartz's distinction between maximizers and satisficers helpful. I'm definitely on the satisficer end of the scale, and I don't see the abundance of choice as that big of a problem most of the time. Only on truly costly decisions do I move more into a maximizer mode. The risks of a bad choice in most decisions just aren't worth the worry to me.
