As I noted yesterday, Melissa and I were off to the Royals game yesterday with Denis Hancock (Reformed Angler) and family. The Royals won! They beat the Mariners 7-4, and Redman went 8 2/3 innings. Denis got some great pictures at the game, although the last picture looks like a bunch of druggies. With this win, the Royals officially moved one-half game out of the Major League cellar. The weather was great, and the Royals actually won. I can't ask for much more. The ticket above is a keeper.

I’d offer you my condolences about the Chiefs/Broncos game, but it would be a bit disingenuous of me. I lived too many years in Colorado to switch my football loyalties.
All I’m saying is those expressions all look pretty mellow and “happy.”

It does appear that what ever virus has affected the residents of the K has now moved across the street and infected the residents of arrowhead. It could be a very long season.
